I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Between 2014-16, I was a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) postdoctoral fellow at the Department of English at Harvard University, where I worked with Professor Deidre Lynch.

My interdisciplinary research engages with issues surrounding gender, art, and work in British women’s writing of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.

To date, I have published in European Romantic Review (2012), Literature/Film Quarterly (2013), and Victorian Review: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Victorian Studies (2014), reviewed monographs for Papers of the Bibliographical Society of Canada/Papiers de la Société bibliographique du Canada (2012) and Tulsa Studies in Women's Literature (2010), and served as a peer-reviewer for Eighteenth-Century Fiction (2013). I also have a chapter on Mary Hays, co-authored with Eleanor Ty, forthcoming with Routledge (2017).
